Our Kijimea products were developed as high-dose probiotics and are specifically designed to survive their journey to the gut. 

The bacterial strains contained in the capsules are freeze-dried using a gentle process, which puts them into a state of dormancy that preserves their viability and makes them less sensitive to external influences. 

Additionally, the freeze-dried bacteria are encapsulated in a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule. The capsule dissolves slowly during the passage through the stomach and gradually releases its contents, which further protects the bacteria.

Consuming our products together with a meal can help neutralize some of the stomach acid and further support the journey of the bacteria to the gut.
